GeForce RTX 2060 Super

First up is the GeForce RTX 2060 Super, which is an update of the regular RTX 2060 that launched back in January. This remains a mid-range card, but Nvidia is talking up a performance increase for the Super. You may remember the company was already billing the RTX 2060 as 60% more powerful than its GTX 1060 alternative, while costing the same $349. With the Super, the chipmaker says the GPU is now faster than even the GTX 1080, while costing less. As for availability, the GeForce RTX 2060 Super will arrive on July 9 with an MSRP of $399.

Moving up a notch, the 2070 is a GPU that is also receiving the Super treatment. Specifically, this is an upgrade on the original RTX 2070 that was announced back in August 2018. Nvidia says the new RTX 2070 Super variant is faster than its GTX 1080Ti GPU. That added performance comes from a spec’d-up upgrade over the regular 2070. Whereas the original model had 6GB of GDDR6 RAM, whereas the Super gets 8GB GDDR6 RAM. The base clock and overclock capabilities have also been increased from 1,41GHz / 1,62GHz to 1,6GHz / 1,77GHz. Nvidia’s GeForce RTX Super will retail for $499 when it launched on July 9 with an NVLINK SLI connector.

Finally, the flagship of the RTX 20 series has also receive a Super variant. Nvidia says the GeForce RTX 2080 Super is more powerful than its TITAN Xp GPU, which was released in 2017. This is important because the new 2080 Super is nearly half the price of the TITAN, which costs $1,200 MSRP. However, it is worth noting the RTX 2080 Super is not more powerful than the RTX 2080Ti, which launched last year as the top of the range for the 20 series. Consumers can purchase the GeForce RTX 2080 Super from July 23 for an MSRP of $699.
